who starts an album with a 12 minute meditation on the flow of time and the temporal nature of existence? I guess I do. I figure if you can get through that, then you deserve the rest of the collection.

sic transit gloria finds me traversing the unexplored lands in the back of my mind, where all boxes contain boxes that contain boxes - their contents foreign and yet oddly familiar.

I found myself less lyrical. more experimental. less conventional. more eccentric.

with the exception of 'wakenow' and 'opaque windows' all songs were constructed over the course of few hot summer weeks. Without any plans or expectations, I simply sat down and let the songs create themselves.
